  • Venteux

Bottomless mimosas, rosé, or Bloody Marys for just $24/per person (limit 90 minutes). Or Spill The Tea, a specialty cocktail featuring Empress Gin, raspberry hibiscus syrup, a squeeze of lemon, and a splash of sparkling wine—refilled unlimitedly for one hour for $45. To eat, share the Love You a Brunch breakfast platter featuring Venteux’s French favorites: French toast, bacon, eggs, and marble potatoes. Exclusively for Galentine’s Day, the platter serves 2-3 guests for $59. 

Additionally, on Saturday, Feb. 15, guests can join artist Emilia Chang from 6-8 p.m. for a Candle & Candle Holder Painting Workshop, the second installment of Venteux and Pendry’s Winter Sip & Create Workshop series. Emilia will guide participants in painting a pair of custom candle holders and send them home with candles to complete their ready-to-light artwork. To complement the experience, Venteux’s bar team has also crafted some new  Galentine’s Day cocktails that will be available during the occasion.

Momotaro presents an exclusive Galentine’s Day workshop with Pastry Chef, Jessica Vasquez on Thursday, February 13th from 6:00pm-7:30pm. In this hands-on class, Chef Jessica will guide you through the art of designing and decorating your very own heart-shaped chocolate box. Your finished creation will be filled with an assortment of Valentine’s Day treats to take home.

Gold Coast

The hotel is partnering with local perfumery Workshop Apothecary for an evening of creativity on February 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Taking place at the hotel's European-inspired bar, Le Bar, attendees will have the chance to create their very own signature scent with guidance along with a glass of complimentary bubbly. Tickets are $20 on Tock.

Maple & Ash is keeping the Valentine’s celebrations going on Sunday, February 16 with a Galentine’s Day Brunch. Celebrate with brunch alongside your girlfriends and DJ Zel spinning hits. Reservations are available on their website.

  • The Getaway

On Thursday, February 13, The Getaway in Lincoln Square hosts a get together for Galentine’s Day. Specials will include two glasses of wine paired with a Cheese Board crafted by Chicago’s own specialty cheese shop, Beautiful Rind, for $30. This treat includes an assortment of three gourmet cheeses, seasonal jam, cornichon pickles, and pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds. At 7:30 p.m., guests will be offered a free music open mic night until 10:30 p.m. hosted by Scott Besaw from Old Town School of Music.

I|O Godfrey located at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago hosts a special Galentine's Brunch on Sunday, February 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This extended brunch session features cocktail & dessert flights, build your own mimosa station, and more. Reservations can be made on Tock.

For one evening on February 13, The Bamboo Room will offer four Tarot-inspired cocktails paired with small bites. Tickets (via OpenTable) are $100 per person.
