Fulton Market Kitchen has undergone a renaissance of sorts with a new live performance art series titled "5x5", new menu, and redesigned space.
5x5 will offer guests a rare opportunity to enjoy dining, drinking, and the live creation of artwork by acclaimed local artists. Starting on March 23 with local artist Xophe, every week Monday through Friday, 5x5 will feature a highly curated roster of artists creating original works on a 5x5 stretched canvas or wood board. Artistic genres that will be explored during the series include: graffiti, collage + assemblage, wearable art, landscape, abstract and more.
Once each artists' art piece is completed, the finished work will be exhibited prominently in the main room of Fulton Market Kitchen for one week thereafter. Each piece will be available for purchase by the public a portion of the proceeds being donated to a local charity.
As if having the opportunity to see amazing artists in action isn't enough of a draw, Chef Kyle Petersen's new menu continues to wow guests with playful presentations and ingredients. Take a glimpse at a few of the new dishes from Fulton Market Kitchen below.
Fulton Market Kitchen has added an entirely new section to its menu called "Amusements". Filled with flavorful dishes that are mouthwatering works of art, this portion of the menu offers the perfect small bites to start any meal.
The BBQ Quail offers just the right balance between sweet, salty and spicy with hoisin sauce and vibrant red chilis.
Beautiful and delicate, the Fruits De Mer is truly a culinary work of art. The fresh octopus, scallops and gulf shrimp are nestled on top of a crispy wonton chip for a light yet flavorful bite.
New to the appetizers is the Mesclun Salad. This delicious dish is full of different textures and flavors making it stand out from ordinary salads. From the crisp, sweet yet tart apples to the soft, mild flavored Sarancino cheese, every bite of this salad is unique.
By popular demand, the popular "Daily Noodle" has found a more permanent spot on the menu with an entire section dedicated to fresh pasta made daily from scratch including Ricotta Gnocchi with spinach and black truffle butter and Lasagnette made with ribbon pasta noodles, bolognese and parmesan.
Whether you're looking to kick back with a cocktail, explore dishes in a casual setting, or have a more formal dining experience, the new menu and redesigned space at Fulton Market Kitchen along with the 5x5 live performance art series has just what guests need to create their own unique dining experience.
