If Chicagoans have perfected one thing, it’s BRUNCH! Roscoe Village pizzeria and wine bar, Frasca recently announced the re-launch of their weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 3pm. This is the first time the restaurant is offering brunch (and day service) since last Fall due to indoor dining restrictions.
Crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. Piping hot Doughnuts tossed in cinnamon sugar are the way to start off brunch. All they really needed was a little chocolate dipping sauce!
Guests can order a mix of sweet + savory dishes, like the Croque Madame smothered in fontina béchamel and adorned with a sunny side egg or a Smoked Salmon Toast loaded with toppings. On the sweet side of things, Nutella Pancakes or freshly-fried Doughnuts tossed in cinnamon sugar are available.
This Croque Madam panini requires a fork and knife to eat. Salty prosciutto shares the spotlight with a blanket of buttery fontina béchamel. Served with a sunny-side egg.
The best part of brunch is always the cocktails. $25 gets brunch-goers a 2-hour, bottomless drink package featuring unlimited Aperol Spritz', Mimosas and Rose Sangria. If you aren't feeling the small brunch menu, Frasca's standard full menu will also be available for anyone craving pizza, pasta and wine.
This Smoked Salmon Toast is as delicious as it is beautiful. A generous amount of smashed avocado and slices of marinated tomatoes welcome the delicate smoked salmon topped with crunchy everything bagel seasoning.
