The founders of Smoque Steak and Smoque BBQ announced the launch of Uppercut Sandwich Co. at Revival Food Hall (125 S. Clark, Chicago) in November 2023. Smoque BBQ in Revival Food Hall will close October 20, it will be replaced by the newest concept from the partnership that brought diners Smoque Steak earlier this year. The space will reopen as Uppercut Sandwich Co. in November; there will be no change to Smoque BBQ’s original location.

“Revival Food Hall is one of the most prestigious food halls in the country and a great location to launch this new concept, which really showcases the creativity of the extended team that developed Smoque Steak,” says Barry Sorkin, Smoque BBQ and Smoque Steak co-founder. “We are utilizing the Smoque BBQ stall at Revival Food Hall to launch this concept and we are really excited to introduce this brand to the city.”

“Smoque BBQ has been a great partner for seven years. We're over the moon about this next chapter,” says Tim Wickes, Director of Food Halls for 16 on Center Chicago.
