Foundation for Culinary Arts (F4CA), a nonprofit organization committed to empowering socially and economically disadvantaged students through culinary education, has announced the launch of its Fried Chicken and Champagne promotion. This initiative, inspired by the Foundation's former "Fried Chicken and Champagne Fest" event, aims to raise funds for its Yes, Chef! Culinary Camps, offering transformative opportunities to high school students in underserved areas of Chicago. 

"We are thrilled to introduce the Fried Chicken and Champagne promotion in partnership with these amazing Chicago restaurants," said Catherine De Orio, Executive Director of F4CA. "This initiative not only celebrates culinary excellence but also supports our mission of fostering new industry leaders through our educational programs."

The promotions, which kicked off this June with a portion of the proceeds going back to F4CA, include the following restaurants: 

Pops For Champagne | 601 N. State Street 

  • Featured special includes Fried Chicken Popcorn and Champagne for $50. 
  • Available through June 30th 

The Dearborn Tavern | 145 N. Dearborn 

  • Featuring a glass of Champagne and the Midwest Fried Chicken special for $44. 
  • Available throughout the month of July. 

Farm Bar | 1979 W. Montrose (Ravenswood) 

  • Offering includes a Fried Chicken Sandwich paired with wine selections for $28
  • Available throughout the month of July. 

Farm Bar |1300 W. Wellington (Lakeview) 

  • Fried Chicken Sandwich with Le Colture Prosecco for $28 
  • Available throughout the month of July. 

Kuma's Corner | 2900 W. Belmont 

  • Featuring the Maple Razz Chicken Tender Sandwich with a glass of Zardetto Sparkling Rosé for $28
  • Dates Offered: August 1 - August 31

The Fried Chicken and Champagne promotion not only showcases Chicago's culinary scene but also contributes to the educational advancement of aspiring young chefs in the community. Since 2008, F4CA has provided over 250 students with opportunities to attend the Yes, Chef! Culinary Camps, which are 100% free to campers.
