Evanston’s Found Kitchen + Social House is hosting a new culinary documentary A Chef’s Voyage, which opened nationwide on September 18. The film follows James Beard award-winning Chef David Kinch and his team from their Three-Star Michelin restaurant, Manresa, in California for a one of a kind “four-hands” collaboration with three chefs at their restaurants in Paris, Provence, and Marseille. This weekend only, Chicagoland has an opportunity to experience this behind-the-scenes culinary journey.

Kicking off Friday, October 2 and running through Sunday, October 4, patrons can view the entire film before/after their meal or just highlights in Found Kitchen’s salon with a pre- or post-dinner cocktail.

Reminiscent of an old fashioned “Rock Doc,” the camera provides a glimpse behind the scenes of their tour as they perform five dinner and four lunch events over the course of just 10 days in  venues in Paris, Provence, and Marseille.

Chef Debbie Gold is running a special all weekend inspired by the film. Kuri Squash Risotto with Black Truffle ($15)

The film will be shown in Found Kitchen’s salon on Friday, October 2, 5 – 9:30 pm, Saturday, October 3, 5 – 10 pm and Sunday, October 4, 11 am -2:30 pm & 5 – 8 pm
