West Loop’s Formento’s has launched a new collection of dessert Affogatos. Affogato most literally means “drowned”, and it is used when a liquid is poured over a cold food. Formento’s has introduced these two traditional Italian desserts that cap off an Italian meal. 

  • Traditional: Sparrow Espresso drizzled over Vanilla Gelato.
  • Cantaloupe Prosecco Float: Melon sorbet with a Prosecco pour over.
