Forester Hotel Adds New F&B Summer Picnic Package for Guests

The Forester Hotel (200 N. Field Dr.) is launching a new Picnic guestroom package just in time for Summer on the North Shore. Fit for exploring the many Lake Forest Open Lands or to take when heading to one of the area’s many outdoor Summer entertainment options, the hotel’s new Picnic Package handles all of the legwork to offer guests to plan an al fresco dining experience on-the-go in addition to overnight accommodations in one of their guestrooms or suites. Guests that book the package will receive a picnic basket filled with goodies for the picnic including a foldable fleece travel blanket, choice of a bottle of red, white or sparkling wine, a pair of drinking glasses and a corkscrew. For a complete experience, the hotel’s restaurant concept, Oaken Bistro + Bar, will also offer hotel guests the option to create a custom menu for any occasion. Additional sundries are also available to add on to the picnic package at the hotel’s on-site, 24/7 market. 

For local explorers looking at the new offering all on its own, a customized Forester picnic basket can be reserved for pickup at Oaken Bistro + Bar. Baskets start at $75.
