Kick restaurant and lounge, located in North Center, will hold Father's Day brunches on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., dining dads may enjoy two specialty dishes and a beer-mosa cocktail, in addition to Kick's regular brunch menu.
Chef Tim Lavelle's specials include "Kegs and Eggs" (peppercorn
crusted hanger steak, balsamic glaze and sautéed onions over scrambled
eggs, served with spiced breakfast potatoes and paired with a draft
beer, $18) and "Belly of the Beast" (pork belly benedict with collard greens, chipotle-hollandaise sauce and spiced breakfast potatoes, $12). Kick's bartenders will mix up Oberon-Kenobi Mimosas (Bell's Oberon, orange juice, sparkling wine $8), along with a bevy of bloody marys, signature cocktails and craft brews.
