Farm Bar is introducing Honey Buzz Week this August. From Sunday, August 13 through Saturday, August 19, in celebration of National Honeybee Day(8/19), Farm Bar is launching a week of bee-focused activations at their restaurant, giving diners the chance to celebrate bees, learn about bees and save the bees.

Bees Knees: Chicago Spirits Gin, Brown Dog Farm Honey, Pomp & Whiskey Gin Liqueur, Lemon
Queen Bee: Brown Dog Farm Honey, Super Gay Vodka, Maple Citrus, Angostura
For only $5, all diners have the chance to adopt a bee from Brown Dog Farm. All proceeds will be donated to Chicago Botanic Gardens.
Kids Beekeeping Class:
Farm Bar is teaming up with The Hive for a kid-friendly Beekeeping Class on Thursday, August 17 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Available for ages 5 and up, children can learn about bee preservation from a beekeeper themselves, eat some honey snacks and watch bees in action. The Beekeeping Class for Kids can be reserved on Eventbrite.
