Fabulous Freddies and Lincolnwood’s Proesel Park Summer Events

Fabulous Freddies is offering new food options at Proesel Park this summer:  burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, and Italian ice. Freddies is also offering daily specials like Taco Tuesday.  

Proesel Park has collaborated with Fabulous Freddies to offer visitors more food and drink options to accompany the myriad of activities the park has to offer.  They offer a summer concert series, children’s concerts, movie night series, along with swimming at the Aquatic Center, and opportunities to play baseball, tennis, cricket, or soccer.  Don’t forget Lincolnwood’s signature event- Lincolnwood Fest- back for 2021.

Event Schedule

July 15, 7-8:30pm, Summer Concert Series- Rosie and the Rivets:  the retro rock ‘n’ roll show performs a retrospective tribute to early rock ‘n’ roll favorites including rockabilly, R&B, surf, and the British Invasion. Rosie’s voice is backed by a band with music theater experience.

July 22-25, Lincolnwood Fest:  Lincolnwood’s signature event is back for 2021.  Come out to Proesel park for carnival rides and games, free live music, food and concessions by Fabulous Freddies, and a beer and wine garden.

July 29, 7-8:30pm, Summer Concert Series- Final Say:  Get up and dance to the full rich sound, tight grooves, and non-stop high energy of Final Say. The show features music from alternative rock, new wave and 80s big hair rock.

August 1, 11:30am, Children’s Concerts- Miss Jamie’s Farm:  Miss Jamie’s Farm is a music show for young kids and their families, sharing values from life down on the farm through songs both new and familiar. Sing, dance, laugh and learn with Miss Jamie and her farm puppet friends.

August 8, 11:30am, Children’s Concerts- Jodi Koplin’s Jinglejams:  Jodi Koplin’s Jinglejams engaging style, along with her interactive show and original lyrics always keeps kids rockin.’

August 28, 8pm, Movie Under the Moon- Trolls World Tour:  Poppy and Branch discover there are six troll tribes scattered over different lands. Each tribe is devoted to different kinds of music. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other lands’ music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to save the diverse sounds.

September 18, 7:30pm, Movie Under the Moon- Hook:  When his young children are abducted by his old nemesis, Capt. Hook middle-aged lawyer Peter Banning returns to his magical origins as Peter Pan. Peter must revisit a foggy past in which he abandoned Neverland for family life, leaving Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys to fend for themselves.
