Wicker Park

To celebrate 25 successful years of business in Chicago’s Wicker Park, Estelle’s will host an all-night anniversary party on Friday, October 25 from open to close, 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., while raising funds for Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton relief efforts.

Located in the heart of Wicker Park, just steps from the bustling intersection of Milwaukee, Damen, and North Avenues, Estelle’s has been a quintessential neighborhood bar and late-night haunt since 1999. While Wicker Park has evolved over the years, Estelle’s remains one of the few original staples, a testament to its unpretentious, welcoming vibe. Popular for their daily half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Estelle’s also draws a loyal crowd with its late-night menu of simple yet satisfying bar bites, burgers, sandwiches, and fries—all freshly prepared in the tiny open kitchen right behind the bar.

Estelles Crowded Bar 2
Estelle's prepares bar bites available late-night in a tiny open kitchen set behind the bar.

A throwback special and a nod to 25 years, Estelle’s will offer $2.50 PBRs all night with an option to upgrade to an Estelle’s souvenir pint glass for $7. Other anniversary specials will include a $25 combo featuring a burger, fries and beer, served in an Estelle’s souvenir pint glass, with a Jameson shot. Food specials will feature half portions of select appetizers for $2.50 each including a Basket of Fries, Cheese Curds, Nancy’s Nuggets and Tater Tots.

Throughout the evening Estelle’s will have a custom playlist with pre-1999 music playing and DJ Jill Hopkins will spin party jams from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Estelle’s signature merchandise will also be available for 25-percent off all evening (in-store only).

A portion of proceeds from the night will be donated to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton relief efforts and benefit the Community Foundation of North Carolina and the Community Foundation Tampa Bay. Estelle’s is part of Four Entertainment Group (4EG) and their second bar to open in Chicago, after aliveOne in Lincoln Park opened in 1996. 4EG has a long history of hosting fundraisers for organizations in need throughout the year from local to international. In 2022 the Chicago locations were able to raise over $4,500 for United Help Ukraine, and most recently they raised $6,722 from a Maui Relief Fundraiser to support the Maui Strong Fund. 4EG bars include  aliveOne in Lincoln Park, Central Park Bar in Avondale, Easy Bar and Estelle’s in Wicker Park, Remedy in Bucktown, The Getaway in Lincoln Square, and The Owl in Logan Square.

Estelle's is location at 2013 W North Ave. in Wicker Park. For more information, visit www.estelleschicago.com.
