Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk has announced its wine-centric Happy Hour at 58 E. Oak Street every Monday through Thursday from 3:00PM until 6:00PM.

The restaurant will be opening a bottle from their collection of rare and cult wines from around the world. The wine collection has received multiple “Best of” awards from Wine Spectator, and is housed in a 50-foot tower suspended from the ceiling.

The menu features $10 bites paired with $10 wines by the glass. Select items include:

  • Truffle Arancini
  • Gold Coast Oysters Rockefeller (wakame, basil aioli, gold leaf)
  • Korean Fried Chicken
  • Double Fried Chicken @ings
  • Prime Rib Sliders
  • White Bean Hummus

A list of specialty wine cocktails made with wine and spirits was developed by mixology wizard Mike Ryan, and includes takes on an Old Fashioned Gin, Vodka and Espresso Martinis, as well as creations like Emperor’s New Cocktail (Sipsmith gin, fresh carrot, Cooper’s Hawk Riesling, fresh lemon, cardamom), Madame President (Cooper’s Hawk Camille Fierce, Mt. Gay Eclipse rum, Grand Marnier, Lustau Blanco vermouth, orange peel), and Twilight Song (Milagro Reposado tequila, rosemary, lychee, rose, Luxardo maraschino, Cooper’s Hawk Cranberry wine).
