El Tapeo, under the leadership of Chef William Bothell, has announced a range of food and drink specials, along with events and discounts for the season. The restaurant, located in Le Meridien Chicago at Oakbrook Center, specializes in tapas, offering both hot and cold small plates inspired by Spanish cuisine. El Tapeo’s tapas menu includes dishes such as Carne Asada, Atun
Crudo, Pollo, Alcachofa, Pulpo, Croquette de Setas, Pancetta de Cerdo,
Queso de Cabra, Gambas, Patatas Bravas, Aceituna, Pimientos, Mejillones,
Datiles, Empanada, Carne Tirade, and Bruselas.
El Tapeo’s drink program features a Spanish wine selection and a variety of cocktails.
The restaurant’s Golden Hour runs from 4 to 6 PM on weeknights, during which a series of specials are available:
Every day, guests can choose five tapas for $60 or six for $70.
On Mondays, Paella dishes are offered with a $10 discount, alongside $7 glasses of house sangria and $6 select Tito’s cocktails.
Tuesdays feature half-price glasses of wine.
Wednesdays include a half-price Martini special.
On Thursdays, a complimentary charcuterie board is provided with any purchase, and bottles of wine are half-price. A gift certificate raffle takes place at 7:00 PM.
Fridays offer $6 Effen Vodka cocktails.
In addition to regular promotions, El Tapeo will host Charred Oak Brook, a public event on September 28. The event includes complimentary tapas, cocktail flights, and etched bottles of Woodinville whiskey. Tickets are available for purchase.
On October 1, in recognition of International Coffee Day, the restaurant will serve $10 espresso martinis made with Woodinville’s Charred Oak Brook bourbon, along with complimentary valet service. El Tapeo is also launching "Cocktail for a Cure," a charitable initiative in which a donation will be made for every Old Fashioned purchased, supporting Pelotonia's cancer research efforts.
