  • $8 cocktail special

In support of Earth Day, aliveOne will feature a specialty “The John Muir” cocktail for $8 each and $1 from each cocktail sold will benefit the National Parks Conservation Association. The cocktail features CH Vodka, demerara syrup, fresh lime juice and grapefruit La Croix.

For 100 years, the nonpartisan National Parks Conservation Association has been a voice in safeguarding national parks. NPCA and its more than 1.3 million members and supporters work together to protect and preserve the nation’s most iconic and inspirational places for future generations.

Easy Bar

  • $7 Allagash beers

Easy Bar in Wicker Park has partnered with eco-friendly Allagash Brewing Company in support of Earth Day on Monday, April 22 by donating $2 from each Allagash beer sold to the Earth Day Network. Allagash beers are $7 each and will include Allagash White, Allagash Saison, Allagash Sun Drift and Allagash Hibernal Fluxus. Guests can keep their pint from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. that evening, while supplies last.

Earth Day Network works year round to solve climate change, to end plastic pollution, to protect endangered species, and to broaden, educate, and activate the environmental movement across the globe.

Estelle's

In recognition of Earth Day, Estelle’s in Wicker Park will host a Pre-Earth Day Fundraiser on Friday, April 19 starting at 5 p.m. where $1 from all drinks sold will be donated to the Gardeneers. Guests will enjoy drink specials and a raffle, all while supporting the Gardeneers, the only Chicago-based nonprofit providing school garden programs that give communities equal access to healthy food and food education.

Special for the party, Estelle’s has created a $10 themed cocktail called The Green Thumb featuring Effen Cucumber Vodka, Cynar, St. Elder Elderflower Liqueur, demerara syrup and lemon juice. Estelle’s will also have an Earth Day DIY seed activity table from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (while supplies last). Guests can also munch on “green” menu items like Fried Pickles Spears ($7) and Southern Style Green Beans ($6.50), both served with chipotle ranch.

Remedy Bar

  • $8 cocktail special

In support of Earth Day on Monday, April 22, Remedy will offer a “Sprouts Honor” cocktail for $8 featuring Aviation gin, Aperol, lemon juice and rhubarb bitters. A portion of proceeds from each cocktail sold will be donated to Project SYNCERE. Remedy will show episodes of Planet Earth on the TV throughout the evening.

Project SYNCERE provides a curriculum that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the use of project-based learning.  Project SYNCERE's staff assists and coaches students in scientific inquiry, directing them to deeper levels of understanding. These actions have helped students by raising their test scores, improving their critical thinking and problem-solving skills and increasing their overall enthusiasm for school.

The Owl

In recognition of Earth Day, The Owl will donate 50-percent of proceeds from the “Last Nite” cocktail to Alliance for the Great Lakes, working to protect the Great Lakes through advocacy, volunteer opportunities, education and research. The cocktail features El Jimador tequila, San Pellegrino aranciata rossa, agave, lime juice, and angostura bitters.
