Dive Bar, located in Lakeview, has recently launched brunch service. The nautical neighborhood eatery now features "bingo brunch" every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. New midday menu items include coconut creme-stuffed french toast, fried chicken benedict, early riser po'boy, seafood omelet, Captain Ahab's Bad Habit mimosa package, and more.
Hosted by Toyota Corona, brunch bingo will start at noon and run until 3 p.m. One dining guest will win their breakfast, as well as other prizes, in each round. At 3 p.m., a pie eating contest invites you to "dive in" to a potential win of $50 cash.
Those that set sail early may enjoy half-priced bloody “gilligans” ($3.50) and classic mimosas ($3) from 11 a.m.-noon. As summer heats up, the brunch party moves to the nautically-themed “dock patio” for sipping frozen drinks and coastal wines in the sunshine.
