III Forks Prime Steakhouse, located in Lakeshore East, will prepare for Derby Day with a special Kentucky Derby themed cocktail menu, available from April 29 to May 4. The special libations include Maker's Mark Mint Julep, Brown Derby, Kentucky Grazer, Tommy's Margarita, El Diablo, Bee's Knees, and Clover Club cocktail.
A special Derby week happy hour will be offered Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3 from 4-7 p.m., featuring $5 Maker's Mark Mint Juleps, half-priced wine by the glass, $1 oysters and $9 Certified Angus beef burgers with 4 year aged cheddar and lemon aioli (regularly $18).
On Saturday, May 4, the steakhouse will will host their annual Derby Day soiree on the rooftop lounge. Starting at 2 p.m., party goers are encouraged to don their best seersucker suit, buff up the white bucks and choose a most fabulous chapeau for the occasion. A "Win, Place, Show" raffle will be held for III Forks dining gift certificates ($100; $50; $25). The Kentucky Derby race will be shown at 5:50 p.m. on multiple outdoor television screens.
