Culinary Care, a non-profit organization based in Chicago, has announced a city-wide initiative aimed at raising support for families navigating a cancer diagnosis.
With the mission to ensure a meal and community support are accessible to everyone diagnosed with cancer, Culinary Care will be surprising diners at select Chicago restaurants with VIP Golden Tickets hidden within their bills. These winners will receive free VIP access to the Gourmand Gala, an event set to take place on November 9th at Chicago's Union Station. Each VIP ticket is valued at $250, offering an opportunity to partake in the evening while supporting an essential cause.
Courtney Johnson, the Founder and CEO of Culinary Care, expressed her enthusiasm for this initiative by saying, "This city-wide initiative is a fantastic way to encourage people to dine for good in Chicago and show their support for the remarkable restaurants that share our commitment to giving back and changing peoples’ lives through food."
The Gourmand Gala, benefitting Culinary Care, will bring together 25 chefs from Chicago dining establishments. Guests can look forward to an evening filled with casino games, live entertainment, and the opportunity to connect with individuals in the community.
"The Gourmand Gala is living proof that when a compassionate community comes together, we can create a truly profound impact," Courtney Johnson added.
