This National Month of Giving many Chicago restaurants are doing their part to support organizations working to ensure local communities can enjoy a safe, comforting and festive holiday season.
The Empty Bottle x Pizza Friendly Pizza Toy Drive
Date: December 4, 12PM-4PM, free admission, 21+ (or accompanied by legal guardian)
Details: Come one, come all to the Empty Bottle Lunch Holiday Toy Drive. They'll be collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be donated to Children around Chicago, all while the AM Brunch DJs and 1/2 of Dad's Basement (the handsome half) spin tunes from noon 'til 4PM. Drinks will be flowing and food from Pizza Friendly Pizza will be available all afternoon. Pizza Friendly Pizza will be serving a limited menu-full bar at Empty Bottle will be available.

Soul & Smoke - Coat Drive
Date: Now - December, Sun-Thurs: 11am-8:30pm, Fri-Sat: 11am-9:30pm
Details: Soul & Smoke’s annual coat drive is back. Join them in helping to keep our community warm this year. In partnership with Connections For The Homeless, they are collecting new and gently used coats for our neighbors in need. Coats can be dropped off at their Evanston location, located at 1601 N Payne St.
