As a new addition to CRW, Publican Quality Meats is resurrecting its annual Cassoulet tradition. Based on a collaboration with France’s Chez David, the chef (David) flies in once a year to cook his cassoulet with Chef Paul Kahan as part of this series. Now, for CRW only, the team is going beyond the bounds of the standard 3-course dinner to bring back this tradition (without Chef David though), offering the exclusive cassoulet at one seating per night (6:30 p.m.). Michigan Ave’s French brasserie, Venteux, is joining Chicago’s Restaurant Week for the first time since opening doors last year with a 3-course dinner menu ($55pp) of their dishes. A seasonally inspired Michelin-starred meal from Chef Andrew Zimmerman. Choices for each of the four courses include: Beef Tartare au Poivre, Little Gem Herbed-buttermilk Smoked Egg Yolk, Lightly Roasted Scallop and Foie Gras Tart to start; a second course of a Crispy Soft Cooked Egg, Smoked Sablefish, Grilled Octopus and Truffled Fried Chicken. Entrees feature Ricotta Agnolotti, Duck Breast, Beef Striploin or Roasted Monkfish. For dessert, choose either Pink Peppercorn Pavlova or Black Licorice Black Currant Creme de Cassis Ice Cream.

Burger Bar
Located in Chicago’s South Loop, Burger Bar is offering menus for Lunch ($25) and Dinner ($39) for Chicago Restaurant Week. Burger Bar Chicago features craft USDA Prime ½lb burgers and craft beer with menu items to fill in the gaps such as fresh-cut Truffle Fries, Sweet Potato Tots, Bacon Lollipops, grilled Sassy Wings, Fried Pickles and three varieties of Mac and Cheese. Large chopped salads and hand-spun shakes round out the food experience at Burger Bar.
Sociale
Located in the South Loop, Sociale is offering menus for Brunch ($25), Lunch ($25) and Dinner ($55) for Chicago Restaurant Week 2022. Dinner options include Chef's charcuterie selection with cured meats, cheeses, candied pecans, cornichons, house made jam & mustard; Sea Bass Saltimbocca with prosciutto-wrapped sea bass, sauteed spinach, prosciutto migas, sage white wine-butter sauce; and Wagyu Ribeye with scallion chimichurri. Brunch menu includes any brunch specialty (entrée) plus choice of mimosa, bloody mary, nitro martini or any of Sociale’s signature cocktails.
Publican Quality Meats
As a new addition to CRW, Publican Quality Meats is resurrecting its annual Cassoulet tradition. Based on a collaboration with France’s Chez David, the chef (David) flies in once a year to cook his cassoulet with Chef Paul Kahan as part of this series. Now, for CRW only, the team is going beyond the bounds of the standard 3-course dinner to bring back this tradition (without Chef David though), offering the exclusive cassoulet at one seating per night (6:30 p.m.). Price ($55) includes an appetizer and dessert, wine and beer are available a la carte. Book on Tock.
Dove's Luncheonette
Wicker Park’s daytime diner Dove’s Luncheonette is open for CRW with a 3-course lunch menu of comfort food. From the Chicken Fried Chicken with chorizo gravy and green peas to Mushroom Enchiladas and a Golden Beet salad.
Testaccio
Logan Square's Ancient Roman-inspired Testaccio is serving up a 3-course dinner, each of which features a completely vegetarian-friendly option. Options include Testaccio’s contemporary takes on classics such as their Caseificio il Casolare Burrata with tomato jam and Mezze Maniche al Sugo di Manzo - a rich, braised oxtail ragu alongide their extensive selection of Mediterranean and amphora wines. Add shaved Marinello Black Truffles to each course for an additional $16. Dinner reservations can be made on Resy for $39 ($55 for the black truffle addition).
Venteux
Michigan Ave’s French brasserie, Venteux, is joining Chicago’s Restaurant Week for the first time since opening doors last year with a 3-course dinner menu ($55pp) of their dishes. Venteux’s plush red velvet booths and soaring floor-to-ceiling windows set the scene for a night time spot to try French favorites like their Tuna Niçoise salad and Roasted Chicken with black truffle cream and crispy potatoes.
Kostali by NAHA at The Gwen
For $55 per person, diners can experience the hotel’s offerings at Kostali by NAHA with an optional wine pairing for an additional $25. Menu is below.
Kostali also has a brand new Aperitivo Hour, featuring $2 oysters and half-off specialty cocktails. The new happy hour is every Wednesday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Columbus Tap
Prepared by Executive Chef William Schultz, the curated menu was created exclusively for Restaurant Week. Start off with spice roasted carrots including Aleppo yogurt, hazel nuts, brown butter crumble and picked carrots. Then, choose from an option of poached sable fish or braised pork belly. Finally, dessert is sticky toffee pudding.
This exclusive menu will be available at the restaurant starting on March 25 and runs through April 10. Guests can book this dining experience for $39 (dinner only).
The Lunchroom
For Restaurant Week, The Lunchroom is offering the below menu featuring the usual Lunchroom favorites – including salads in starter portions and a special Mini Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich Duo - items which are not available outside of Restaurant Week. Restaurant Week also sees the return of the Baja Beach Tacos. Lunch is the only meal offered for Restaurant Week (there is no dinner at The Lunchroom) and of course it’s only $25.
