In response to Chicago’s January 3 Vaccine Order, the Chicago French Market has implemented new Covid-safety rules, effective January 3.

“During these trying times, we want our customers to feel safe and have a fun, delicious and stimulating experience,” said Leslie Cahill, Director of Operations for the Chicago French Market.

In addition to installing Airphx air purifiers throughout the market and continuing to require face masks for all guests and staff, the following procedures are now in place.

Customers who are coming to the Market for a quick visit of ten minutes or less must wear masks, but they do not need to provide proof of vaccination.

Fully vaccinated guests will have several dine-in areas to choose from. The main dining area will be open between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bar Frietkoten, Blue Spot Sushi, Jian and A Taste of the Philippines have designated dining areas adjacent to their kiosks. In addition, the Chicago French Market will have general seating adjacent to the information booth by the Clinton Street entrance. Proof of vaccination (ages five and older) and valid ID (ages sixteen and older) will be required in accordance with the Order.

To expedite the guest experience, the Chicago French Market also has an online ordering system with no third-party charges. Guests can pre-order for dine in, carry-out, curbside pickup or delivery. Curbside pickup for online orders is available Monday through Friday. As an additional support for businesses and lunch groups in the area, the Chicago French Market also offers several food catering options.
