Chef and Founder of Chicago’s Lillie’s Q in West Town, Charlie McKenna has joined Meati’s Culinary Collective to debut new meat-free offerings beginning May 15. 

In working with the team behind the animal-free meat made from mushroom root, Charlie McKenna will debut new collaborative offerings including Meati x Charlie McKenna recipes, a ‘Charlie’s Favorite Things' Meati Box giveaway, and two on-menu LTO’s at Lillie’s Q for Meati lovers in Chicago. A breakdown of the offerings, below:

  • Charlie McKenna x Meati Giveaway: Live now for consumers nationwide to win a box packed with Charlie’s go-to BBQ goods, tools and ingredients — including Meati, along with an exclusive recipe. Just enter your email or text “BBQ” to 63824. 

  • Meati x Lillie’s Q On-Menu Offerings: Running through August, local Chicago consumers will have the chance to try Meati Burnt Ends and the Meati Fried Classic Cutlet Sandwich at the Chicago BBQ restaurant, as developed by Charlie McKennna. 

  • Meati x Charlie McKenna Recipes: Featuring Meati Sloppy Q’s, Meati Classic Cutlet Shawarma & Tzatziki and more, all developed by Charlie McKenna.
