On Saturday February 22, Central Park Bar in Avondale will have several specials to celebrate the holiday. Guests can sip and celebrate with $8 margarita specials including the House Margarita and Central Park Bar’s Frozen Spicy Mango Margarita (Ghost Spicy Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, mango, lime).

Downtown/The Loop

  • Esta Loca

At Esta Loca, they serve a frozen margarita with a blend of Jose Cuervo Blanco tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar, finished with a salted rim. Customize yours with your favorite flavor, from passion fruit and huckleberry to pomegranate, mango, and more. 

  • Grill on 21 at The LaSalle Hotel

Try the Black Diamond Margarita, crafted with Dobel Tequila, balanced with agave and fresh lime juice, and finished with a black salt rim. 

  • Petterino's

Sip on Petterino's Sicilian Margarita featuring smooth tequila, complemented by flavors of prickly pear and amaretto, with a touch of agave. 

  • Vol. 39 at Kimpton Gray Hotel

Vol. 39's version features tequila, lime, orange curaçao, and a touch of agave. 

  • Prime & Provisions

Prime & Provisions is offering a twist on the classic margarita with The Rookery featuring Patrón Silver, orange liqueur, eucalyptus, lavender, and lime.

Lakeview

  • Cody's Public House

Cody’s in West Lakeview is hosting a fiesta in celebration of National Margarita Day on Sunday, February 22. Party-goers will be offered happy hour from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. featuring $5 draft Margaritas. All day specials will include $25 Corona family buckets, $5 Modelo drafts, and $6 Dobel Diamante shots. Guests will be offered a free Walking Taco Bar at 2 p.m. along with prizes and raffles including a Dobel tequila sampling at 7 p.m.

A $10 Margarita special available all evening. Guests can kick things off with half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., then keep the party going as DJ Boathouse takes over, spinning beats from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Mercado Margarita at Casa Chi by Chef Richard Sandoval brings together the flavors of Nikkei cuisine, blending jalapeño-infused tequila with the sweetness of passion fruit and lime. Topped with a hibiscus and rosemary foam, this margarita offers a balance of spice, fruit, and herb.

River North

  • Vela Bar y Cocina

Vela has offerings ahead of National Margarita Day on Feb. 22. The team built out four special margs that will be available February 18-23 including Miso Blueberry (Codigo Blanco Tequila, Shiro Miso Syrup, Lime, Blueberries, Mint); Spicy Carrot (400 Conejos Mezcal, Carrot, Orange, Lemon, House Spicy Bitters, Smoked Salt); Strawberries & Peas (400 Conejos Mezcal, Strawberry Pea Syrup, Chamomile Honey, Lemon); and Yuzu Pineapple (Gran Centenario Blanco Tequila, Pina, Agave, Yuzu, Tajin). 

  • Mercadito

In celebration of the holiday, Mercadito is offering their newest margarita, La Vida Rosa, for $16 throughout the month of February. Crafted just for the occasion, the cocktail is made with Don Julio blanco, Lillet Rouge, Aperol and agave served on the rocks and topped with house champagne in a margarita glass garnished with half a strawberry.

The Spicy Margarita Milk Punch at Rose Mary is a riff on the classic margarita created by Beverage Director Kyle Davidson. Using clarified milk produced in-house, Davidson mixes it with Cimarron reposado tequila and Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao. 

  • Fora and Selva at The Emily Hotel

Fora offers their take on the classic margarita that features Corazón Tequila, Cointreau, and freshly squeezed lime. Selva's marg is crafted with Astral Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, and freshly squeezed lime.

  • Bar La Rue

Bar La Rue is serving French Kiss Margarita, crafted with Jose Cuervo Tradicional, mezcal, Strega, lime, and mango, it’s topped with a volcanic chili salt rim. 

Suburbs

  • Chicago Culinary Kitchen

Chicago Culinary Kitchen in Palatine is celebrating National Margarita Day with a frozen twist—the Piñarita Brainfreeze. This boozy soft-serve margarita blends Libélula Tequila Joven, Naranja Orange Liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, pineapple Jarritos, and agave, all topped with Tajín, lime, and spicy pineapple.
