With the recent announcement confirming fireworks on the Chicago River this year, River Roast is a perfect spot to celebrate New Year's Eve along the wintry waterfront. In addition to a Champagne toast at midnight, evening specials from Executive Chef Jason Qureshi are available as a four-course prix fixe menu for $95; or a la carte prices as listed below:

Whipped Goat Cheese ($15) Vermont Creamery rosemary whipped goat cheese, pistachio crumble, balsamic-poached raspberries, and grilled brioche

Roasted Bone Marrow ($28) Served over gnocchetti with pink peppercorn butter

Surf & Turf ($52) Petite filet mignon with jumbo grilled shrimp and a charred lemon béarnaise

Cheesecake ($14) Dark chocolate ganache
