Prairie Grass Cafe, located at 601 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook, will offer an Easter Buffet Brunch and an Easter Dinner Takeout option. The restaurant will also be open for regular dinner service on Easter night beginning at 5 PM.
The buffet menu will feature the Prairie Grass Cafe Signature Benedict, which includes a poached egg, spinach, and roasted tomato hollandaise. Additional buffet options include deviled farm eggs, Caesar salad, chopped Greek salad with warm feta, grilled asparagus, crispy Brussels sprouts, and the restaurant’s signature moussaka. Other offerings include crispy cod “fish & chips” with homemade spicy tartar sauce, roasted potatoes, Maple Creek Farm bacon, breakfast sausage patties, glazed local ham, chicken pot pie, and large bean ragu with tomato and herbs. Guests can also select made-to-order omelet station and hash brown patties.
Bakery and sweet selections will include hot cross buns, cheese Danish coffee cake, and chocolate croissants. A fresh fruit platter with sliced fruit and berries will also be available. The buffet will feature a made-to-order crepe station along with carrot cake squares with cream cheese icing and candied goat cheesecake with dried fruit.

Optional prime cuts will be available for purchase, including all-natural American Wagyu flat iron steak, prime ribeye cap, all-natural prime New York strip steak, prime bone-in ribeye, and all-natural prime filet of beef. All steaks will be served with shallot-herb butter.

The meal will include sliced glazed local ham with crispy sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus. Additional items available for order include mushroom soup by the pint or quart and deviled eggs with herb dressing. Pre-orders must be placed by Thursday, April 17.
