Italian Lincoln Park

Casati’s, 444 W. Fullerton Parkway, the family owned, modern Italian restaurant has announced the opening of a new 42-seat, pet-friendly patio just in time for al fresco dining this season. Owned and operated by Italy-native Stefano Casati, Casati’s will also introduce a new lunch menu that will be offered daily.

“We are thrilled to be able to inaugurate our new outdoor garden patio just months after opening Casati’s to be able to welcome the community in to experience the trends of today’s Italian cuisine while honoring tradition,” said Casati. “Our patio is the perfect gathering space for happy hour get-togethers, family dinners, date nights, or celebrations. We are excited to also extend our business hours to now offer lunch every day of the week.”

Guests will be offered Chef Christian Fantoni’s new array of lunch dishes, from Zuppe to Dolci. Guests may start their meal with one of Casati’s Antipasti options, which all feature ingredients either locally sourced or imported from Italy, including Burrata, made with buffalo milk burrata, balsamic onion marmalade, arugula, crispy onions, and Saba; Tartara, ahi tuna tartare with avocado, peas, homemade shallot vinaigrette, crispy shallots, and sweet baby drop red peppers; and Patate, truffle fries, garnished with parmesan and chives. The Primi menu features dishes such as Scott’s Cappellacci, homemade lobster ravioli with shrimp ragout, fennel, lobster broth, micro basil and lemon zest; and Tortelloni, handmade sheep ricotta filled ravioli, tomato fondue, and basil pesto.

To complete the meal, guests can try the Pizze di Pinsa menu, Pinsa dishes created with a special organic flour mix of water, rice, soy, and wheat. Pinsa’s range from the Ciccia, with pepperoni, sausage meatballs, tomatoes and mozzarella; Casati’s Bianca, adorned with white sauce, truffle shavings, mozzarella, parmesan, chives and sun dried tomatoes; and La Bona, with pear, gorgonzola, walnuts, and balsamic glaze.
