Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop recently debuted a new location in St. Charles at 1960 W Main St. Capriotti’s brings the St. Charles community its 40-year tradition of slow-roasting whole, all-natural turkeys in-house and hand-pulling them every morning and other items like the made-from-scratch meatballs.

Capriotti’s offers awide array of sandwiches including The Bobbie, made with our fresh oven-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo, the Capastrami, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and homemade coleslaw and the cheesesteak is made with steak, chicken or Impossible plant-based meat and melted cheese plus hot or sweet peppers. The St. Charles Capriotti’s will offer a order-ahead option, in addition to third-party delivery services with partners including Uber Eats, Doordash and Postmates. The new shop will bring 20 new jobs to the St. Charles community.

The new local sandwich shop is owned and operated by married couple Anneliese and Paul Claps. Anneliese and Paul both have professional experience in the restaurant industry, and always had dreams of owning their own dining option. Paul decided to try the brand for himself when he heard about Capriotti’s while listening to a local radio interview with Capriotti’s CEO Ashley Morris.

“After trying the product, what really sealed the deal for us was the support and understanding from the brand’s corporate team,” said Paul. “Once we felt philosophically aligned with Capriotti’s and personally believed in the quality of the product, we knew we wanted to bring it to our community. We’re very excited to get started and share Capriotti’s with the residents and guests of St. Charles.”

The restaurant also features online ordering. Capriotti’s in St. Charles offers catering for any event from corporate events to birthday parties with items such as party trays with cold subs, box lunches or a hot homemade meatball bar.

Capriotti’s is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
