Café Press Chicago (800 S Clark St), Good Eats Group’s coffeehouse with urban influence located in the city’s Printer’s Row neighborhood, now features a new variety of gourmet sandwiches on its Afternoon Edition menu for delivery and takeout.
Crafted using local ingredients and made-from-scratch bread, including artisan varieties from Hewn Bakery, the sandwich lineup, is complemented by Café Press Chicago’s custom-blend, micro-roasted Sparrow Roastery coffee selections, handed-blended teas, grab and go beverages, salads, soups, and baked goods. Café Press Chicago hopes to inspire locals to take a break from home-cooking and treat themselves to a sandwich, whether for lunch or dinner. Available daily beginning at 11 a.m., the new sandwiches include:
· Wagyu Ribeye Cheesesteak made with bulgogi beef, jicama slaw, provolone, pickled Fresno chilis, and brioche bun ($12.99)
· Country Ham on Baguette with Edwards country ham, red onion, parmesan butter, and cornichons ($9.99), inspired by the first Virginia ham smokehouse founded in 1926 by S. Wallace Edwards, Sr.
· Signature Grilled Cheese made with Deer Creek Cheese, Quadrello® di Bufala, miso mayo, pickled red onions, and sourdough ($11.99)
· Grilled Chicken Sandwich made with lettuce, tomato, zesty house-made Caesar dressing, and local brioche bun ($8.99)
· Wood Roasted Mushroom made with provolone, wilted spinach, herbed olive oil, and local panini bread ($7.99)
· Turkey BLT made with swiss and chimichurri mayo ($8.99)
