Brasero as announced Chef de Cuisine, Adam Meyer, is a StarChefs Rising Star Award recipient. This recognition honors leaders in the dining scene who prepare exceptional dishes and propel their kitchens and the industry forward. 

At Brasero, Adam is focused on supporting the new program while incorporating his Italian and Hungarian roots into the menu. Prior to the Brasero opening, Adam worked closely with Chef John Manion at El Che Steakhouse & Bar where he was also the Chef De Cuisine. Adam has over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry and cut his teeth at other Chicago establishments such as Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, The Bristol, and more. 

Brasero opened this past winter and brings wood-fired Latin cooking to West Town. The wine list, curated by wine director Alex Cuper, leans fresh, focusing on low-intervention pours from up-and-coming winemakers in South and Central America. The list features 100 different bottles all under $100. Brasero also offers happy hour Tuesday through Sunday from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
