This year, Kentucky-based Willett Distillery and Chicago spirit emporium, Delilah’s is tapping Chef Paul Kahan and his restaurant collective, One Off Hospitality to help throw the city’s first iteration of Bourbon Bonanza, the annual charity whiskey tasting & silent auction event. A portion of proceeds will support Chicago-based charity Pilot Light, a non-profit organization that helps bridge the gap between food, wellness, and community, as well as Kentucky-based non-profit Guthrie Opportunity Center, which serves people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Nelson County, KY community.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 8th from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m at Bottom Lounge. General admission tickets are available for $350 per person, with the option to add on a bottle of the 12-year-old Willett Family Estate Bourbon for an additional $500.
Originating in 2015, the Bourbon Bonanza is an annual charity event & silent auction, offering guests whiskey and food options while they bid on hard-to-find barrels and spirit bottles. The 2024 benefit will take place in Chicago at Bottom Lounge hosted by Mike Miller, owner of Chicago spirit emporium, Delilah’s, and will feature a variety of bourbons, including five rare single barrel whiskies from the Willett Distillery plus assorted bites by One Off Hospitality’s chefs Paul Kahan, Rob Levitt, Greg Wade and Joe Spain.A portion of proceeds from the evening will benefit Chicago-based non-profit Pilot Light & Kentucky-based non-profit Guthrie Opportunity Center.
