The Chicago-based hospitality group, Bonhomme Hospitality, has plans in place to extend its outdoor-dining season further this year.

BEATNIK WEST TOWN

Bonhomme’s original Beatnik in West Town, sunny summer is possible no matter the temperature outside thanks to the combination of the restaurant botanical garden paired with a retractable roof and fully opening floor-to-ceiling façade.

BEATNIK ON THE RIVER

Like its older sibling, Beatnik On The River the installation of a transparent enclosure protects guests from inclement weather while still allowing for unobstructed viewing. Patio heaters complete the all-weather experience, allowing guests to don their best tropically inspired attire no matter the weather to match the decor.

PORTO

At Porto, The Atrium's entire façade along Ashland Avenue is comprised of sliding windows that allow the space to become indoor-outdoor on warmer days, and the glass rooftop allows for natural sunlight and a patio-like vibe.

BOTÁNICO

Located above Mama Delia, Bonhomme’s new Spanish concept in Wicker Park, and Bordel, a speakeasy and cabaret, the enclosed rooftop garden on the building’s top floor, works double duty as Botánico, a 2,500-square-foot private event space with two distinct rooms, and an expanded dining room for Mama Delia. Decorated with Murano crystal wall lamps, vintage Persian rugs, farmhouse dining tables, large-scale paintings from local artists and tropical greenery. High ceilings coupled with a wall-to-wall skylight, rustic wood-paneled walls and a half-moon floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Division Street add to its interior design.

CELESTE

At Celeste, the rooftop garden on the fourth floor provides the same patio feeling as Beatnik, Porto and Botanico. It provides a year-round experience under an enclosed glass-covered rooftop decorated with Victorian-style furniture, tropical greenery and vine-covered brick walls.
