In the wake of catastrophic flooding across Valencia, Spain, Bonhomme Hospitality is coming together with chefs Marcos Campos, José Sosa, and hospitality connoisseur Felipe Ospina to host a fundraising event on Monday, November 18th. ‘Relief for Valencia’ will take place from 5PM until 8PM, as Chicagoans gather at Bonhomme Hospitality’s three West Loop restaurants — Bambola, Coquette and Expat, located on the ground floor of 1402 W Randolph St — to support World Central Kitchen’s relief efforts for those affected by this disaster.

The evening’s menu will feature an array of dishes and drinks crafted to highlight the region’s culinary heritage. The event will also feature live musical performances by Jeilah, Eliana, and Umberto. The team is partnering with some of the city's chefs for the event which include: Chef Oliver Poilevey (Obelix, Le Bouchon, Mariscos San Pedro), Chef James Martin (Bocadillo Market), Chef Jose Sosa (The Greggory Hearth & Tavern), Chef Sahil Sethi (SIFR), Chef Zubair Mohajir (Lilac Tiger, Coach House, Mirra), Chef Marcos Campos (Bonhomme Hospitality), Chef Shanna Primiano (Bonhomme Hospitality) and Jeremy Owen Barrett (Lemon).

All funds raised will be directed to World Central Kitchen (WCK), providing food relief to communities in crisis, which has mobilized in Valencia to deliver needed meals and resources to those displaced or affected by the floods. By joining forces with WCK, Bonhomme Hospitality ensures that every dollar contributed will have a tangible and direct impact on those in need, amplifying the support of local businesses and the community.

“We are calling on the Chicago community to join us in making a difference. Valencia’s communities need our help now more than ever, and through the power of our industry and the compassion of our patrons, we hope to provide real, meaningful relief,” said Daniel Alonso, Bonhomme Hospitality’s founder and creative director. “This event is about more than food or music – it’s about solidarity. It’s about showing that no matter the distance, we can come together to make a powerful impact.”
