Giordano’s continues its milestone 50th anniversary with a collaboration that pays homage to the city’s culinary scene. Teaming up with Chef Lee Wolen of Boka Restaurant Group, Giordano’s has crafted a special limited-time offer pizza: the Calabrian Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sausage Pizza, available starting Wednesday, July 17th.

Earlier this year, Chef Jesse Harris of Giordano’s and Chef Lee Wolen embarked on a culinary partnership to honor Giordano’s 50 years. 

"This collaboration with Chef Wolen brings our customers something special to continue celebrating Giordano’s 50th anniversary,” said Chef Harris. “We are thrilled to partner with such an iconic Chicago restaurant group and launch this limited-edition pizza, which honors our heritage and highlights the innovative spirit of Chicago’s culinary scene." 

The Calabrian Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sausage Pizza features ingredients inspired by the flavors of Calabrian cuisine, spicy notes showcasing homemade chicken sausage and house made spicy honey. It will be available in Giordano’s three styles – Stuffed Deep Dish, Pan Pizza with Parmesan Crust and Tavern-Style Thin Crust. 

“Working alongside Chef Jesse has been an exciting opportunity to blend our culinary styles and create something memorable for all Chicagoans,” said Chef Wolen. “Our goal is to honor Giordano’s legacy while introducing a new, dynamic flavor profile to the menu- and we did just that.”  

As part of Giordano’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, a portion of the proceeds from the Calabrian Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sausage Pizza sales will be donated to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital.
