Lincoln Ave, is welcoming winemaker Antonio Zaccheo Jr. of Carpineto Vineyards in Tuscany Italy, for an exclusive Five Course Winemaker Dinner on Monday, October 21 beginning at 7 p.m. For $90 each, guests will receive five paired courses throughout the evening, each complemented with a handpicked wine by Antonio for the Tuscan experience.
Wine enthusiasts will begin the evening with a Hiramasa Crudo, complete with a Hibiscus Reduction, Apricot, Fresh Herbs, and Ellis Farms Honey, paired with the 2018 Dogajolo Toscana Rosato. Guests will then delve into a Seared Foie Gras and Mousse, with Preserved Local Plums, Brioche, Pickled Mustard Seed and Plum Gastrique, complemented with a 2017 Chianti Classico.
The journey through Tuscany continues with a Chianti Braised Pork Belly, created with Confit Cherry Tomato, a Red Wine Reduction, Baby Greens, and a Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette, balanced off with a fuller bodied 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva.
The fourth course includes a Seared Allan Brothers N.Y. Strip, with a Braised Short Rib, Parmesan and Cauliflower Cream, Pickled Red Onion, Shaved Cauliflower, and a Baby Arugula Salad, combined with the dark and earthy 2015 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva.
To end on a sweet note, patrons will indulge in a Cherry-Chocolate Ganache, with a Cherry-Lime Tuile, Poached Bing Cherries, Dehydrated Mousse, White Chocolate Snow, and a Chocolate Gelato, accompanied with a 1999 Vin Santo – a sweeter dessert wine.
