Bitter Pops has announced the return of its Advent Calendar for 2024. This year, the collection features 24 craft beers, featuring local and regional breweries to countdown to Christmas, sip by sip.
This year’s Advent Calendar also includes several new breweries, such as Grimm, Other Half, WeldWerks, and local favorites like Goldfinger, Hop Butcher, and Skeleton Key. Each day from December 1st, you’ll open a door to reveal a surprise craft beer.
In addition to the new breweries, Bitter Pops has announced a special collaboration with New Riff Distillery and Rhinegeist Brewery as part of the new “Barrel to Barrel Series”. In September, Bitter Pops visited New Riff in Newport, Kentucky, to select a single barrel of their 112-proof Barrel Proof Bourbon. After its release in November 2023, they partnered with Rhinegeist Brewery, filling the empty bourbon barrel with their signature Night Whale stout, a beer featuring notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and vanilla.
After aging in the bourbon barrel for 12 months, the result is the Single Barrel Aged Night Whale, exclusively available at Bitter Pops. They've also hidden several of these 16oz cans inside the Advent Calendars.
