Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Wicker Park’s long-standing taqueria and luncheonette will launch Breakfast Tacos, which will be available Friday-Sunday from 9:00am to 11:00am out of Big Star’s to-go window. To kick-off this collaboration, patrons will receive a free breakfast taco on Thursday, May 5 from 9:00am - 11:00am,
while supplies last. Dark Matter coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice
and additional breakfast tacos will also be available for purchase.

Julie Warpinski (Big Star) and Dennis Bernard (Dove Luncheonette’s)
have joined forces to create three breakfast tacos inspired by
their respective menus. The menu features Migas Taco (tortilla chips drowned in salsa, eggs, pickled red onion and queso fresco), Huevos con Carne Taco (grilled steak, peppers and onion with eggs and spicy tomato salsa) and Chorizo Verde Taco(crispy potatoes, green chorizo and eggs), all served on house-made flour tortillas. by a shared love of Austin, Texas’s popular breakfast tacos, chefs
