On October 28th from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m., Apogee Lounge invites guests to step into a chilling re-creation of the famed horror-comedy Beetlejuicethis Halloween, complete with spectacular décor inspired by spooky scenes from the film, movie character appearances, themed bites and beverages, and thrilling beats performed by Chicago’s hottest DJs throughout the night.
Upon arrival, guests of Apogee will enter into the supernatural realm of Beetlejuice through the Portal to the Dead and party among the lost souls of the Netherworld. Whether sipping on cocktails in Dante’s Inferno Room or dancing to the bass bumping music of DJ Martin Atkins inside the Deetz family’s spine-chilling home (…Daylight come and he wan' go home!), the night is sure to be an eerie delight.
Guests will be awestruck by the realistic room designs of Ivan Carlson & Associates, featuring frightening scenes from the infamous dinner party at the Deetz’, the lost souls waiting room, the giant sandworm’s desert, and more. But be careful to say Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, as the ghoulish character himself might pay guests a visit, along with other scary spirits from the afterworld.
In partnership with Pipeworks Brewing Co., Dark Matter Coffee, and Absolut Elyx, Apogee will serve freakily delicious hand crafted concoctions to imbibe and keep the festivities going all night long. Guests may also enjoy themed passed sweet treats created by Pastry Chef Stephen Huang of Portsmith restaurant.
Beetlejuice aficionados can opt for advance VIP ticketing to the event, which includes early admission, specialty cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres to fuel up before the energy-packed night of revelry. Groups of up to ten guests may also reserve an exclusive table in advance, featuring premier bottle service and prime seating surrounding the party action while overlooking the city from above.
