Just in time for opening day, Beerhead Bar & Eatery is set to open its doors on April 5 as part of the Addison & Clark complex. Across the street from Wrigley Field, Beerhead will begin serving its more than 400 brands of beer, and a list of spirits, cocktails and food options on Friday.
The new restaurant's interiors include stadium-themed bar tops and tables made with wood from bleacher boards, eclectic baseball and beer décor, as well as garage doors that open to the Clark Street entertainment district on warm Chicago days.
Beerhead aims to expose guests to the world of American craft beers and spirits, including selections from around the world. Beerhead will not only feature hundreds of local and American craft beer choices, but they will also feature a cooler containing a section dedicated to “Home Team Picks” and “Away Team Picks” highlighting local Chicago brands and brands curated to match to the visiting team’s baseball schedule.
“Trying new craft beer and cocktails is fun. Where you drink it should be fun too”, said Beerhead Bar and Eatery Co-Founder, Greg Goodrich. “We are excited to open our doors in Chicago proper for the first time in a spot like Wrigley and think we will really hit a home-run with Cubs fans, craft beer-lovers, and Chicago residents. We are looking forward to the season opener and cannot wait to showcase our immense beverage offerings and high-quality food”.
Supplementing Beerhead’s more than 400 different beers and other beverage choices and 50 rotating taps available to guests, the kitchen will offer both a lunch and dinner menu featuring salads, specialty pizzas, the brand’s signature Barbarian Pretzel and desserts. Brunch will also be available on Saturdays and Sundays and will offer menu items like Breakfast Pizza and drink specials.
Located on an L-shaped, 2.3-acre property spanning Addison and Clark streets, Beerhead Bar & Eatery joins the retail, entertainment and dining lineup. The project is a joint venture development between Bucksbaum Retail Properties, LLC and M&R Development.
Beerhead Bar & Eatery – Wrigley will be open Mondays – Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Fridays – Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Hours of operation will be extended for special events and on game days.
