Beef Shack, a family-owned-and-operated restaurant for beef sandwiches in Chicagoland, opened a sixth Illinois location in Suburban Oswego.

According to Beef Shack CEO Daniel Perillo, the new location, like all the others, will deliver sandwiches made only from fresh, never-frozen ingredients. Beef Shack’s philosophy has always been to keep the menu small. For example, rolls are from locally-based Turano Bread and baked fresh daily, and fries are fresh cut right in front of the customer and fried immediately before being served.

Beef Shack is home to the Cheezy Beef, a beef roasted with an in-house seasoning blend, dipped in jus, topped with hot or sweet peppers and covered in a blend of cheeses. Other menu options include burgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, 24-hour marinated chicken breast sandwiches, brioche grilled cheese and shakes. Beef Shack now has six locations with Perillo family members working for the company in various management positions. Son Brandon Perillo is Vice President; son Daniel Perillo IV is President of Operations; daughter Gina Perillo is the Social Media Strategist; and daughter Stephanie Hobbs runs the business office. Brother Mike Perillo is a Corporate Manager.

“The involvement of my brother and children in the business has been as equally gratifying as the continued growth, loyalty and enthusiasm of Beef Shack’s customer base throughout Chicagoland,” said Perillo. The business is also lucky to have huge contributions from District Managers Phil Garza and Aly Rea.

Located at 3433 Orchard Road, the Oswego restaurant joins two in Elgin, and one each in St. Charles, Huntley and Bartlett. Three more locations are planned for this year, including in Glen Ellyn, North Aurora and Crystal Lake.
