The Yerminator Burger is Back at Fabulous Freddies

Fabulous Freddies of Bridgeport is welcoming back baseball fans for the 2022 season. The family run business has been feeding White Sox fans both pre and post game for over 32 years. Their extensive menu has something for everyone, and Freddies partners with local vendors when possible. Freddies serves shrimp from Lawrence’s Fish and Shrimp, a Chicago mainstay since 1950; and doughnuts from Do Rite Donuts. Freddies has also imported “Chocolate Cake to Live For” from Simple Bakery in Lake Geneva. Of course, they serve Chicago staples like Italian beef sandwiches and specialty pizzas; and their menu boasts many other offerings all created in-house, including pizza by the slice, Bridgeport Dogs, and Infused Italian Ice!

Fabulous Freddies’ daughters are responsible for this neighborhood, fast-casual concept, and baseball season is their favorite time of year! The girls created the Yerminator Chimi Burger to celebrate Yermin Mercedes’ success and his Dominican heritage. It turned out to be their best-selling sandwich in 31 years of business - over 4000 sold last year! Even Yermin Mercedes himself gave his stamp of approval and after trying his namesake burger before a game went 4 for 4! Freddies is hoping Mercedes will be a part of the line-up again this year, and to celebrate the return of baseball Fabulous Freddies is offering up $5 Yerminators until April 5 - just mention the “Yerminator Special”.  In addition, if Mercedes hits a homerun during spring training, enjoy buy one, get one Yerminator burgers the following day.
