Barcocina, the modern Mexican concept from River Partners Hospitality, has announced their expansion into a second location in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. Opening in October, the new location will be at 1814 W. Chicago Ave.

“We’re thrilled to introduce Barcocina to the West Town neighborhood,” says Adam Webb, General Manager & Managing Partner. “At its core, Barcocina is all about providing an exciting and welcoming place for everyone to gather around the table. Whether looking for a place to celebrate with friends or catching up as a family over a great meal, Barcocina is sure to impress.”

Executive Chef Ramiro Piza is at the kitchen’s helm, and the West Town location’s menu features both current options and new plates. Barcocina options such as the Balsamic Guacamole or Elotes Corn Salsa, and tacos like Pineapple Pork and Bang Bang Shrimp, line the menu along with new additions such as Scallop Ceviche Bites with Jalapeno, Strawberry, and Hibiscus Caviar.

Cocktails such as Summer Sangria, House Party, and Skinny Punch are served on draft, in addition to a curated cocktail menu featuring sweet, smoky, and spicy flavor profiles featuring tequila and mezcal. Monday through Friday, happy hour will be available.

Barcocina West Town will open for dinner service with plans to launch its bottomless weekend brunch in the following weeks.
