"Back to the 1980s" Nights at KICK with DJ Todd

Mad for Madonna? Love dancing to Duran Duran? Is Billy Idol your idol? Then head to KICK in North Center for a "Back to the 1980s" party on Thursday, July 14 and Thursday, July 28. Starting at 8 p.m., the neighborhood restaurant and bar will welcome DJ Todd Smith for "Thursday Night Sessions" with an 80s-themed twist. DJ Todd will play familiar favorites and take requests from the decade until midnight, while Kick's bartenders serve retro cocktails including Blue Hawaiians, Sex on the Beach, Hurricanes and Tequila Sunrise ($8 each).  

Put on the neon, tight roll your jeans and pair your throwback libations with Kick's menu featuring fare from far-flung spots such as Mexico, Vietnam, India, Peru, Argentina and Italy.
