Avli Restaurant Group, in partnership with Athens-based hospitality group, The Nice & Easy Group, will host the inaugural Chicago Hellenic Chef’s Experience, taking place on Thursday, May 1 at Avli on The Park.
This event will celebrate the traditions of Greek food, wine, and culture in Chicago by bringing together chefs from Greece with a line-up of Chicago Greek chefs from Avli, Andros Taverna, and more.
Proceeds from ticket sales will support the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago’s Greektown neighborhood, and its mission to share Greek history, art, culture, and the Greek-American story.

The Main Event (6 PM – 8:30 PM) will feature unlimited small bite stations with food by the participating chefs, a selection of Greek wine tasting stations from various regions in Greece, a bar of Greek beers, live Greek entertainment, and access to the After Party 8:30 PM - 10 PM. The After Party (8:30 PM - 10:30 PM) will feature a selection of Greek wine and beer, as well as live Greek entertainment to continue the celebration of the heritage of Greece and support the mission of the National Hellenic Museum.
