Avli Hospitality Group will open Pitaki (pea-TAH-key), a quick-service restaurant specializing in Greek street food. Pitaki, which is Greek for ‘little pie,’ will be located in Fulton Market at 950 W. Fulton St. The menu will serve pita wraps, bowls, savory Greek pies, salads, and desserts available for walk-up counter service with limited seating, and to-go.

Pitaki’s menu was created by Avli’s Founder Louie Alexakis and Avli’s newly appointed Director of Culinary, David Tsirekas. Chef David has worked as the group’s behind-the-scenes consulting chef since Avli opened in Lincoln Park in 2018.

“We are combining chef-created dishes using high-quality ingredients, like Berkshire Pork and Wagyu Beef, with the speed and convenience of fast-casual dining,” says Avli Hospitality Group’s CEO and Founder Louie Alexakis. “Pitaki will offer guests a more elevated experience than a typical fast-casual restaurant, while still having competitive pricing.”

Pitaki will be open daily for lunch and dinner. There will be limited dine-in seating, and also feature a collection of curated Greek specialty grocery items, books, and merchandise.

This is the first of three projects Avli has announced as a part of their Fulton Market expansion plan. More details on a renovated event space, currently open and operating as Morgan’s on Fulton, as well as a full-service restaurant by Avli, will be announced later this year.
