After their first three collaboration bento boxes with Chef Chris Jung of Maxwells Trading, Chef Lee Wolen of Boka, and Chef Lawrence Letrero of Bayan Ko, TenGoku Aburiya has revealed the latest edition of their Bento & Co. collaboration series with avec.
avec’s Chef Dylan Patel is fusing his Mediterranean culinary background with TenGoku’s Japanese izakaya classics, serving up a West Loop power lunch. Guests can enjoy sumac glazed Spanish mackerel with hummus, topped with chili crisp, alongside garlic rice, shishito peppers, nimono (simmered vegetables), tamago and pickled cauliflower fo $20.
Guests can enjoy this limited edition box at TenGoku during the restaurant's lunch hours (11:30 am - 1:30 pm), available now through March 7th. In addition, 10% of every bento box sold will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, helping to fight food insecurity and provide meals for those in need.
