Artango Bistro, in Ravenswood, invites guests to a Latin American-inspired Dia de las Madres Brunch Menu this Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10.
The 3-course, prix fixe brunch menu features an array of Argentine and South American favorites. The first course offers a choice of 6 appetizers, including Ceviche with aji amarillo, passion fruit sauce, along with Artango's signatureEmpanadas. From there, Executive Chef Isaak Reyes puts an innovative Latin American spin on brunch classics, ranging from Chorizo Benedict -- chorizo, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, served atop a toasted corn flour arepa, to Tostada a la Francesa con Albaricoque -- French toast made with brioche, sprinkled with a crunchy layer of almonds, corn flakes, served with roasted apricot sauce, sabanyon, and assorted fresh berries.
Artango's 3-course Dia de las Madres Brunch Menu is $35 adults, $15 children 3-12, served 10am to 3pm. A separate prix fixe dinner menu will also be available Mother's Day, $44 adults, $19 children 3-12, served 3pm to 8pm. Advance reservations are required for both brunch and dinner at this 80-seat BYOB
