Arbella Presents Day of the Dead Luchador

Arbella, the globally inspired cocktail lounge in River North, presents Day of the Dead Luchador, a spooky and boozy celebration featuring Day of the Dead-inspired face painting, a costume contest with cash prizes, and music to keep the party going into the witching hours on Saturday, October 29. Starting at 9pm until close, guests may imbibe special Halloween cocktail concoctions such as Spooky the Bear ($12) a smoked and white margarita-inspired cocktail and a House Old Fashioned ($12) featuring a scary (and fake) spider ice cube. Guests can later participate in a costume competition sponsored by Red Bull for a cash prize of $500 and DJs Tim Baker & Adam Stolz will keep the monsters grooving throughout the evening.

HOW TO ENTER COSTUME CONTEST

MUST order a 'Spooky the Bear' or 'Smokey the Bear'. Bartender will provide you with a wooden nickel after purchase for eligibility. Sales of these cocktails will be donated to the Lynn Sage Foundation in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. MUST dress in your best interpertation of "Day of the Dead + Luchador" Edt. costume.   

Arbella is open Saturday, October 29 from 5 p.m. – 3 a.m. Arbella’s late-night kitchen stays open until one hour before closing time. Reservations are not required, but are accepted.
