The event starts at 3 p.m. and party goers are encouraged to don their best seersucker suit, buff up the white bucks and choose a most fabulous chapeau for the occasion. A "Win, Place, Show" raffle will be held for dining gift certificates and other prizes.
The Derby Day soiree is free to attend. Guests that RSVP in advance will receive one complimentary themed cocktail. Drink specials include: $5 Maker's Mark Mint Juleps; $5 Churchill Downs Effen Cucumber Coolers; $5 Hornitos Black Barrel Margaritas; and $5 Old Fashioneds made with Jim Beam Bonded.
The Kentucky Derby race will be shown at 5:34 p.m. on multiple outdoor television screens. III Forks’ rooftop lounge offers plentiful seating, cabanas with built-in heaters, stone and glass fireplaces and stunning views of the city and park.
