On Monday, May 2, the husband-and-wife teams from Andros Taverna and Kasama come together in Logan Square for a collaboration dinner benefiting Vibrant Emotional Health. Chefs Doug Psaltis and Hsing Chen of Andros Taverna will be joined by Chefs Timothy Flores and Genie Kwon from Kasama for the ticketed dinner. Tickets go on sale on Tock on Saturday, March 30th and are $350 per person, which includes gratuity. All proceeds raised during the collaboration will go directly to suicide prevention activities at Vibrant Emotional Health.

Diners with tickets will be presented a five-course dinner menu designed by Chefs Psaltis and Flores, including a bottle of Champagne (per two people) with special cocktail upgrades, and dessert created by Chefs Chen and Kwon. A volunteer brigade of sommeliers will also be available during the dinner to provide pairing recommendations. Limited-edition bakery boxes from Chefs Chen and Kwon inspired by this year’s dinner will be available for pre-order and pick-up through Toast.

This year’s collaboration follows the last dinner held in fall of 2021, which raised more than $50K for Vibrant Emotional Health, which is the administer of the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.

“The Chicago restaurant community knows first-hand the tragedy of suicide, so it is particularly meaningful to have Andros Taverna and Kasama join our efforts to raise awareness of suicide prevention and promote emotional wellness.” said Kimberly Williams, President and CEO of Vibrant Emotional Health.

“We’re honored to combine teams with Kasama for an issue that affects our culinary families in Chicago’s restaurant scene,” said Chef Psaltis, “Vibrant Emotional Health has helped so many peers in our community, and this is our chance to show our gratitude for all they do.”
