Alumni Bartender Takeover at The Violet Hour on 2/2

The next edition of The Takeover at the Violet Hour is upon us! According to their blog:

After seven years many talented individuals have tended bar at The Violet Hour, often going on to lead their own programs. As proud parents, we deemed a homecoming was in order. Join us in welcoming alum from across the nation as they return to set up shop behind the bar and curate the evening's menu.

Maura was hired on as The Violet Hour's first full-time female bartender in 2009, and was later promoted to Head Bartender. Her trajectory didn't end there; she has since run the beverage programs of Daniel Boulud's Michelin Star rated Bar Pleiades and Cafe Boulud, as well as Julie Reiner's Flatiron Lounge. Next she opened The Rose in Jackson, WY, after which she worked closely with Dave Arnold as the General Manager of Booker and Dax, Momofuku's solo cocktail bar. She then became the consulting General Manager and Beverage Director at Root&Bone, and now finds her home at Black Crescent.
